I took a cruis to the caribian islands 4 weeks ago.We dit st thimas, st lucia, etc , the classical tour. Alle these ports are a touristtrap. You have one nice street filled with stores for the tourist. ( jewelers, jewelers, and more jewelers, since it is taxfree ) Once you come out of this area, everything is dirty, dangerous, and not very attractive. Not the white beaches you had in mind before the tripp.

The Problem of me going on a cruise is I’m in the Navy. I have a bad feeling I wouldn’t enjoy life on another ship. Everyone tells me it’s totally different from the Big Grey Navy ships, but I don’t want to spend all that money unless I’m positive it’s not.
