I must say that I Googled the Hotel and not really big on the look. I do like the fact that it is close to the big attractions. Free Internet is a must today, and good to see that the Empress is keeping up. Btw, do you know how the hotel got it’s name? thanks for the review
Hey I’ve been to this hotel and it’s really a beautiful place. I agree with you that this hotel is popular; my friend told me about this hotel so I tried staying in this hotel and the accommodations are really luxurious.

I stayed in this hotel in 2006. I rate it a 8 out of 10. The service was great and the rooms were clean and nice. I am not a fan of cali, but I would stay in the Empress again if I went back.

I think it’s good is we stay there, but luxury hotel must be not cheap. If I take holiday I prefer stay in a cottage or villa. I think it’s cheaper than stay in the hotel

Only complimentary internet on two floors? That’s a bit cheap! Surely they could throw a few wireless extenders up and get the whole place covered?

Empress Hotel is beautiful. I have had many clients stay there when traveling to San Diego. La Jolla is such a nice place to begin with. It helps to have all the amenities to help you get comfortable over there.

I was there last year, I have booked a Deluxe King room and it was full of amenities within my budget. It is one of the best hotels in the world with great hospitality. This hotel is a recommendation from my side to all.
La Jolla sounds perfect for the family, great hotels and kids just love aquariums. Will make sure to put it on my travel list.

I’ve just come back from a holiday in Nerja. The weather was not great but of all the towns in Spain, this was our favourite. Great wine and food and charming people. Looking forward to return.
