Low Cost Orlando Vacation Package Tips
For many travelers an Orlando vacation package is the dream of a lifetime. Why would it not be when you think of all the Orlando area has to offer? Not only are there the four Disney World theme parks and two water parks but also Sea World and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Whatever your age, be it two years old or eighty years old or anywhere in between, there is something for everyone.
The cost of an Orlando vacation can seem prohibitive to lots of people because of the high cost of travel plus all the other expenses such as accommodation, meals and theme park tickets. However, there are ways to minimize your costs without minimizing your enjoyment. Here are a few tips to help you:
* Buy an Orlando vacation package: Even though some people prefer to purchase their flight, accommodation and theme park tickets separately, you can frequently save money if you buy an Orlando vacation package. Companies that sell Orlando vacation packages obtain deeply discounted rates and can pass some of those savings on to you. You may sometimes think that some packages are too good to be true, but if you look into the reputation of the vendors, you may well find that the offers are perfectly legitimate.
* If you are not constrained by school holidays or having to travel during peak seasons the more chance you have of finding an affordable package. Many companies offer last minute deals at a fraction of what you would normally expect to pay. The more flexible your travel dates are the better your choice of finding the right deal.
* It is well worth doing research to find out if any of the thousands of hotels offer accommodation extras. If you can find a hotel that offers deals on length of stay and also includes some theme park passes these often work out as better value for money than a similar hotel nearby that has a non-negotiable room rate per night and with no other extras included.
* Theme park tickets: If you think that booking hotels and flights is confusing, wait until you really get started on attraction tickets! There are many, many permutations of tickets to match different requirements for multiple dates, parks and re-entries. And if your party size is large, tickets will comprise a high proportion of your Orlando vacation package costs. So try and decide roughly how many days you want at each theme park, and whether you want to hop from one park to another, then make your decision from the packages available.
* Think about timeshares: If you’re looking for a cheap Orlando vacation and you’re not a timeshare owner, check out the resort companies that offer unbelievably cheap Orlando vacations in return for sitting through a sales presentation. If you’re prepared to give up an hour or two of your time and you have no problem in resisting the very slick and persuasive marketing messages, you’re unlikely to find any better bargain.
So the principle message is that apparent high costs need not be the thing that keeps you from away from your dream vacation in Orlando. Do your research and find a cheap Orlando vacation package then you can enjoy all the joys that the Sunshine State has to offer!

Orlando is a great holiday destination, especially for kids! Packages are a great way to save money and avoid all the hassles of putting together flights, hotels, transportation and more.
With the economic downturn, the Orlando area theme parks and hotels are offering deep discounts. Do some research and you will find great values, with prices lower than they have been in many years. But don’t wait too long – the economic recovery might already be underway so these prices won’t last forever.

When I was a child, my mom took me to Orlando and it was one of my fondest childhood memories. There is so much to see and do there. When I have kids I know I will make a point of trying to plan a vacation to either Disneyland or Disneyworld. Some of the surrounding theme parks are even better.

The advice about renting a timeshare is spot on. I recommend checking Craig’s list to see what’s available.
We went to Orlando a few years ago and didn’t get any discounted rooms or tickets. It was really expensive! The advice in this article is great. I would also add that food is really expensive. If you rent a timeshare, you could also save tons of food if you make a few meals at home.
