Croatia Beaches – Summer Destinations in Croatia
Some people prefer to spend their holidays touring parks, museums and other attractions. Other tourists prefer a more relaxing vacation – just strolling down a secluded shoreline or lounging in a private beach cove. If you’re one of the latter, you might want to consider a trip to the Croatia beaches, one of the best beaches in the world.
Croatia has a mile-long pristine shoreline, as well as over 1,000 islands on the Adriatic Sea. This means that you’ll have lots of beaches to choose from. Some of the beaches are sandy while others are covered with gravel, pebbles or rocks. You’ll find nudist beaches, too.
One of the tourists’ favorite Croatia beaches is the Brela Beach – which comes as no surprise since it has been named the best beach in Europe. Located along the Makarska coast, Brela Beach offers six kilometres of gravel-like sand and Mediterranean crystal waters, as well as many coves backed by shady pine trees. These coves provide the perfect romantic hideaway for couples spending their honeymoon in Croatia.
