I am looking for a place for my parents to stay in Puerto Penasco or Rocky Point Mexico. They want an adult only vacation and they need a place to take their motor home. They ususally stay at Playa Elegante, but it is full and they need to find a place that is as good of place. If anyone has any information about this please let me know. I can't find the information on any web site. Thanks

Jonathan you make a good point about avoiding certain areas during college spring break. A lot of areas in Mexico get quite crowded during spring break as the college kids go down there to blow off some steam. It’s not the kind of scene you want to bring your family to. Any other time of year, places like Puerto Penasco would make a great vacation destination.

Puerto Penasco appears to be a perfect location for a tropical getaway with its beautiful beaches & tranquil surroundings. I’ve been researching on the web and have only found positive reviews for this up & coming coastal paradise. Although I would give it a wide berth during the spring break whilst the college kids are getting up to their usual shenanigans.

I think an ideal tropical vacation has a good mix of relaxing beaches, recreational activities and some sight seeing. It sounds like Puerto Penasco has all of this.
