Seaside Serenity at an Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort
With its warm, balmy climate and more than 60 miles of sandy beaches, it is no surprise that Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a favourite vacation destination for millions of Americans as well as countless visitors from around the world. Many people prefer Myrtle Beach to California, Florida or many other seaside destinations across the United States. Spending a quiet vacation at an oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel is the perfect way to combine the luxury and convenience of a hotel with the beauty and serenity of a seaside holiday. Many of these hotels offer swimming pools, whirlpools and more, so even during bad weather you will still have something to do.
Oceanfront Myrtle Beach resorts line the expansive coastline, and with miles and miles of unspoiled beaches, there is enough room for everyone to lounge, swim, stroll along the shore and play in the sand, with plenty of space to spare. Myrtle Beach is close to all amenities, including shopping, restaurants and more than 100 golf courses. South Carolina has two spectacular state parks on the coastline, and scenic Murrells Inlet is known as the seafood capital of South Carolina.
Most oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts provide their guests with detailed information about the area and all of the available services and forms of recreation. Children are welcome in this family-oriented area, which is why Myrtle Beach is so popular with vacationing families.
When you’re planning your family vacation this year, why not consider taking a trip to Myrtle Beach instead having to deal with crowded cities and expensive theme parks. You and your family can vacation in style at an oceanfront Myrtle Beach resort for a fraction of the cost of a trip to Disneyland, without all the hustle and bustle and stress of impossible itineraries. After all, aren’t vacations supposed to be for relaxation?

Myrtle Beach is an excellent place to getaway. They have some of the best golf courses there. I have been visiting the area for over 30 years and highly recommend it for a fun vacation.

I have been to both California and Florida, but I admit I would not have considered visiting South Carolina. Perhaps one day I will have to see what all the fuss is about.
