Live a Little – Ski in Argentina!
If you haven’t skied in Argentina, you haven’t lived! Argentina is becoming one of the world’s most popular destinations for skiers from all over the world. When you ski in Argentina, you will discover a whole new winter wonderland. The Argentina Ski Resorts are second to none and have become so popular that if you wait too long to make your hotel arrangements, you may find that you have been left out!
Cerro Chapelco (Chapelco Mountain) is located in Patagonia. At a height of almost 2000 meters, it is one of Argentina’s most coveted ski destinations. The resort at Cerro Chapelco includes everything the skier has come to expect in a quality ski resort. The accommodation is first class and the ski resort is fully patrolled for your safety. There are slopes there for every level of skier or snowboarder and rental equipment is available. Cerro Chapelco also has a number of attractions for non-skiers, such as wilderness expeditions and Argentinean cultural activities.
Cerro Catedral (Cathedral Mountain) is South America’s largest and most luxurious ski resort. The Cerro Cathedral Ski Resort boasts over 40 lifts and caters to skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginners to experts. Aside from the many attractions of the resort itself, Cerro Cathedral is only minutes away from San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia’s largest and most populous tourist center. If you don’t wish to stay at the resort itself, there are plenty of accommodations in San Carlos de Bariloche. Even if you choose not to stay there, you will surely want to give yourself a break from skiing and visit this wonderful town before you leave.
Wherever you choose to stay and ski in Argentina, you will come away with a smile on your face. Argentina is a magical place to visit and a fantastic place to ski!

I used to ski quite frequently, but have slowed down in recent years. I definitely want to go on a skiing vacation sometime though. While I am close enough to drive to Whistler, there is something exciting about skiing on a new mountain.
I just read travelers can ski up to 1,230m of vertical, with half of the cash than other ski resorts. Where else we get the best ski.
