You really have to get an early start when tackling these things. 4:45 sounds right on the money to me. We just got back from hiking in some tropical rainforests, and man let me tell you when the sun is beating down overhead it is like a sauna in there!

wow what an adventure! i have always watched travel channels showcasing peru..and yes, its breath-taking. Is it true though that food sucks??

Im sure the views must be amazing. I’m not sure if it is in Peru or Bolivia, but in one of the two countries it’s very popular to use a special drink based on the coca leaf that Iv hear really helps to treat altitude sickness. Have you checked that out? Also…where can I find the pictures?
