Australia Adventure Travel – Places to See
One great place that you might want to add to your Australia adventure travel plans is Ningaloo Reef. It is located off of Western Australia and by going there, you could come face to face with the largest fish in the world, the whale shark. This area is also home to dolphins, manta rays, as well as hundreds of tropical fish species.
Kakadu National Park is another great place to add to your plans. It is an almost twenty thousand square kilometre area of rainforest and artifacts of aboriginal culture. You will see everything from wetlands to waterfalls to gorges in the largest national park of Australia.
Philip Island is the place to be if you want to see thousands of little penguins. Every day at dusk, these little penguins waddle home in packs and pairs after a day filled with foraging for food. This area is also the home of koala bears and many species of birds.
If hiking is your thing, you may want to consider the Blue Mountains. Only ninety minute drive from Sydney, you can trek, bike, horse-back ride or scale the cliffs in this beautiful mountainous area.
These are all really beautiful places that you would be crazy not to add to your Australian adventure travel plans. They are a must see for anybody who is planning to visit Australia, simply because of their magnificent beauty. You haven’t seen Australia until you have seen these wondrous landmarks of beauty. If you like adventure, you will find it here.

Ningaloo Reef is said to be Western Australia’s answer to the Great Barrier Reef, and what an answer it is. I went there during my last vacation.Ningaloo Reef has become a mecca for snorkellers and scuba divers keen to experience its underwater delights. There is nothing more soothing than gliding through these waters lazily taking in some of the 220 coral species and 500 fish species present here.

James Bond wished he had a luggage tag. Because no one wants to lose their Walther PPK in transit. Why lose it, when you can tag it. Q would be proud. You will be thankful.

Australia is so large it’s hard to decide where to go. There are so many places to visit and you don’t want to miss out on any of it once you have flown 24 hours to get there! I would love to see Philip Island and all the penguins!
Australia is gorgeous. The new world – a place to see before you hit the pearly gates. I was born and bred here and have been around the world a little (not as many as some) and still get teary eyed when I come back and the plane lands on the tarmac….just a beautiful country that I think is under-appreciated by it’s own people.
Some thirty odd years ago I promised my wife-to-be that we’d visit Australia when we could afford it. Well, we finally made the trip in February 2010 and we both agree that it was worth the wait!
Australia is a nice place…

Ooh. Australia is one of the most diverse countries in the world. It offers tropics, mountains with snow peaked tops, formal cities and best of the informal resort areas jotted around the magnificent coastline from Western Australia through to South Australia Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and back up the top : Darwin. Each major City has a different culture and its people although speak Australian English have their own local “slang”. This is the charm of Australia.
