If you really want your travel to be memorized:
1. prepare to get lost, find a locals and let them show you they culture.
2. Prepare to try local foods
3. Go for festival, better research before you decide/schedule to go since in many area/cities/country you’ll find they have very interesting events.

Usually like to stay home around the holidays, but if I go out I stay close. Just too much family around for me to leave at a time like that.
