On my DIRECT TV packages, I subscribe to extra movie channels. I was recently flipping through the channels and found the movie ‘Con Air’ on to watch. In my opinion, there is nothing better than a good Nicholas Cage movie.
In ‘Con Air’, he plays a man who is sentenced to prison for murder even though it was self defense. You watch him in prison missing his daughter growing up. He has an amazing accent that he uses in this movie. He is being released from prison, but is put on a plane with a bunch of prisoners. They are prisoners who are considered the worst of the worst. It is maximum security due to most of them being in jail for murder.
The prisoners ultimately end up taking over the plane. Nicholas Cage plays a character named Cameron Poe. He is honestly a good guy. He helps a female guard many times during the flight. He does everything in his power to keep things from going wrong.
When they have to land for a drop off of prisoners, he takes matters into his own hands. He is able to pass on where they are going to the authorities. He could have just went along with the plan, but he shows he is a good man at heart.
