The city of Calgary in Alberta is booming and there is rapid growth. People are coming to Calgary, attracted by the employment opportunities and the high personal income, benefits of the economic diversification which stemmed from its petroleum and gas industries. Hence, Calgary apartments are in high demand.

The increased demand in real estate has caused the prices of houses to increase as well, and makes renting an apartment the better option. But looking for an affordable apartment in Calgary can be quite a daunting task. There are hundreds of property listings and you cannot simply go over and check out each one. Narrow down the choices to make apartment-hunting easier. Decide on the size of the apartment, like how big a space is needed and the number of bedrooms. The area of Calgary you want to live is also an important consideration, as well as the facilities within that community. Families with children would surely prefer to live closer to a school or day-care center. Some may want to live nearer the workplace to save on travel time between work and home.

The easiest way to do this is go online and search sites like RentCalgary. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you will find the ideal home just right for you and your family.

In County Down you will find the North Ireland town of Bangor. It is the most populated of the North Ireland towns. Known as a seaside resort that is visited by many people each year. Also on the south part of Belfast Lough.

Bangor marina is also the largest that you will find in Ireland. Voted the most desirable location to live by those people who viewed Ulster TV in 2007 and 2008. Only a bit over 13 miles from Belfast and around thirty minutes from the Airport.

Hosting two of the more popular yacht clubs also, known as the Royal Ulster and Ballyholme. Check out not only the marina while visiting the wonderful larger town, but also Bangor Abbey. Dating all the way back to 555, and a very old archaeological building.

Based on the cotton industry the town saw that industry suffer during the 19th century. The railway opened up the area to those tourists who wanted to enjoy the lovely landscape. That came about around 1865.

Other places that you need to see while on vacation in this area include the Clandeboye Estate, Ward Park, and Castle Park, Clandeboye Park, and Somme Heritage center. That’s only a few of the wonderful places that you can find in Bangor though.

With so many wonderful things to offer, not only the sites, but the view of the Ireland landscape should make this one location that is on the top of your list. A place where there is tons of history, but also a very positive future in this beautiful town.

A location that can lead you on an adventure, one that you will need to pack the camera and plenty of batteries. Oh and don’t forget the film if you don’t have a digital camera, because you’re going to need to have a lot of pictures.

If anyone plans for domestic traveling, then you will follow these ten domestic travel tips useful.

”	Shop around. Do not give more than you have to for domestic travel.

”	Check your flight in advance to verify the timing of departure as well as for Arrival. If you do not know the timing and your flight is delayed, you might be end up sitting in the airport for hours.

”	Research travel insurance company is a choice for domestic travelers to find out whether your insurance plan covers you outside of your state.

”	If you are planning for a domestic travel trip with a Family and Relatives, call the airline in advance to see if you can choose your seats. Otherwise, you may have to sit separately from your Family members in a flight.

”	The weather conditions may be quite different at your destination compared to the climate at your home place. USA such a big country that domestic travel could get you to an entire new side of USA you have never seen before. For example, if you take a domestic flight from Los Angeles, CA, USA to Miami, FL. The conditions will be somewhat different and you will need to pack accordingly.

”	Be attentive that you might be end up at somewhere, even for domestic travel, where you can’t speak the language.

”	Imagine that you are far away from your place & you lose your wallet or luggage it has stolen when you are away form home on domestic travel. To avoid this loss its good idea to make photocopies of all your important documents.

”	Making phone calls may be costly, even for domestic travelers. The best way to save funds is to use calling cards at a pay phone, or to check with your mobile phone company whether they can arrange for you to use your cell in other parts of the country at a reasonable cost.

”	Bring many books & magazines to read. If you take domestic flights frequently, you may find it a bit boring after a while, so it is good to have something to keep you occupied. You can also avoid overpaying for books or magazines at a airport by bringing your own favorites books or magazines with you. Otherwise, enjoy your domestic travels and try not to get in too much difficulty.

I give you best Travel Tips for Domestic Travelers for fabulous vacation and promise that if your try it out you will be get best vacation. Besides, you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying it. I suggest for a best & fare deals travel websites, which I found while searching on Google.

Fabulous Vegas Freebies

Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a huge fan of freebies and living frugally. What self respecting Vegas visitor would ever pay full price if they didn’t have to or leave this great city of chance without getting something for nothing. One of the best services I can provide my fellow man is the ability to share these fabulous free finds with anyone that is interested in what I have to offer.

This is better than a ‘tell all’ book on who did it and why isn’t it? The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens offers a delight to the eyes of the beholder. It is a true delight to all the senses to see the sights and inhale the fragrance of these gardens that display seasonal highlights in plants, flowers, and produce. Each season offers new delights to the senses and there is no admission fee to view these beautiful floral arrangements. This is a great place for a photo op to help you remember your time in Las Vegas.

Have you ever seen water dance? If not, then while you’re visiting the Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio, you’ll want to stick around long enough to witness the fountains of Bellagio. These shows consist of more than 1000 fountains that are literally dancing in choreographed unison with light to the music (you may be surprised or quite possibly impressed by the extent and variety of the music play list for this particular show). This is also free to witness and occurs every half hour or so after 3:00 PM throughout the week and after noon on the weekends.

If you’re looking for more great fun that is free for the entire family to enjoy, head on over to Circus Circus for Circus Acts-this show is free to watch and provides the audience with the thrills and chills of the big top day after day. You can watch different acts as they perform throughout the day at the half hour mark between the hours of 11 AM and Midnight.

Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall offers a stunning display of water and laser lights daily at 2:00, 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00. This show is called “Sunset Stampede” and takes place in a 9-story atrium that hosts a natural habitat of live trees, greenery, waterfalls, and trails.

Another great free attraction in Vegas is the Masquerade Show in the Sky. The show is free to watch, if you choose to participate by riding one of the floats, the cost is %12.95 (that is subject to change). This experience is very reminiscent of Carnivale in Brazil. The floats are literally suspended from the ceiling for the sake of this show which is considered one of the best free shows that Vegas has to offer.

Perhaps one of the most interesting freebies is the Silverton Hotel and Casino’s Aquarium. This attraction is completely free to the public and a fascinating thrill to children big and small (even mom’s find this one fascinating). Enjoy watching both salt water and freshwater fish in their natural habitats and enjoy the ambiance of your surroundings.

The Sirens of Ti is a great sexy pirates tale that shows at Treasure Island TI daily as the weather allows. This is one great show that the kids, especially little boys that think pirates are the bomb and big boys that enjoy watching ships sink and sirens do what sirens do, will all agree to enjoy together.

Free entertainment is often the best entertainment that can be found. There are so many things to do and see that cost literal fortunes. It is nice to know that there are so many thrilling adventures available for little or no cost to explore while visiting Las Vegas. If you spend wisely, you will discover that you can enjoy the better part of most days filled with activity without breaking your wallet or becoming close personal friends with any creditors.

Looking for a new vacation travel destination? Wondering which holiday spots don’t get the credit they deserve, and which ones receive too much? Here are some tips on a few of the most over- and underrated places.

Underrated:

South Dakota/Black Hills. Beautiful oasis of pine and mountains, and plenty to do with Mount Rushmore, Native American sights, Hiking, scenic drives, waterfalls, tons of wildlife to view, national parks, camping, fishing, and even wild horses and bison roaming free.

Idaho

Upstate New York

Tennessee

National parks in Southern Utah.

South Carolina

Gulf Coast of Florida

Washington DC. A wonderful city with lots of places to explore.

Northern Wisconsin

The city of Athens

Oslo, Norway

Louisville, Kentucky. Not just for horse racing, this city has lots of small-town charm, a diverse art scene, a theme park for coaster lovers, lots of great restaurants, and much more.

Portland, Oregon.

Overrated:

Miami/South Florida. Hot, humid, crowded. Good shopping though for sure. The beach is fun but there are much better beaches in Florida.

Los Angeles. Too crowded on the highways, terrible smog, obstructed views of the surrounding scenery, unimpressive downtown surrounded by graffiti-covered neighborhoods.

Costa Rica

Stonehenge

Disney World at Christmas. Way too crowded to be able to enjoy yourself.

Yosemite National Park. You need to hike to enjoy the beauty of this park. Otherwise you may be disappointed.

Isle of Capri

The Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Cloudy water, no fish, not much to see.

Bali. Open sewers run under the sidewalks.

Atlanta

Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Visitors agree it is interesting but say it is not worth the time.

Sante Fe, New Mexico

Blarney Stone in Ireland.

Although these places have been called underrated or overrated by some, one can usually find things to like and appreciate no matter where you go. Use this list of travel destinations as a guide and be sure to thoroughly research your vacation plans so that you won’t ultimately be disappointed. What one traveler finds to dislike, others may find to be the best part of their trip.

Snuggled on the east side of Mt. Desert Island and encircled by Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor promises romance and adventure. Bar Harbor, fêted the world over as a quiet, beautiful resort village away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, New York and Boston still draws thousands of visitors every year.

Bar Harbor offers a wide range of activities from the relaxed to the rigorous. Bar Harbor is a short distance away from other popular attractions such as the Schoodic Peninsula, Franklin Roosevelt’s summer home, Campobello Island, Acadia National Park, numerous other islands and nature based attractions. Bar Harbor is an all-season destination and draws visitors equally for its bright fall foliage, summertime fun, springtime or the wonderful winter surprises.

Bar Harbor has a diverse range of accommodation options in all price ranges and locations to suit every budget and taste: from rustic campsites to lavish ocean-view suites and just about everything imaginable. There are so many choices that it actually becomes difficult to find the perfect place.

Bed and Breakfasts are generally summer cottages or private homes with several bed rooms and common sitting and dining areas. Breakfast is included in the price of the lodging and can vary from continental, country-style or a full gourmet fare. B&Bs are very popular with the tourists as the ambience is homely.

All the popular B&Bs in Bar Harbor are located within walking distance of the village or have sea-side views. There are scores of B&Bs to choose from and it is always a safe bet to book in advance. Rates vary according to season and other considerations. It is a good idea to check with the establishment about rules and restrictions regarding children, pets and other considerations.

The magic of Bar Harbor will mesmerize you and have you coming back again and again.

On September 1st, the team from Westside Baptist Church in Florida arrived in Arequipa and Lucho and I met them at the airport. They spent the night in Arequipa and in the morning we started on the two-day trip to Pausa. We spent the first night in Caraveli, and in the morning continued on to Cahuacho. The team wanted to have a Bible study with the mayor, whom they had met previously, but he was busy so they scheduled it for the return trip. We used to take a shortcut to Pausa that goes through Casiri, but that road had been impassable due to landslides for about two years.

We asked the mayor and he said it was now open, and we could get through without any problem. We had heard conflicting reports so we asked if he was sure and he said yes, and it would only take us two hours instead of four on the other road. He said they were working on the sewer system just on the edge of the village, but we could pass by that, and from there we would be fine. Well we skirted the ditch for awhile and then we reached a four-foot diameter hole in the road with a ditch leading up to that and no way to get by. It would have also been very difficult to back up the way we came so, we pleaded with the workers to fill in the ditch a bit so we could pass. We told them the mayor had assured us that we could pass and they finally agreed. We had to swerve around between the hole and the ditch with one front tire hanging over the ditch and the other back tire hanging over the hole! It was tight but we finally made it.

Rejoicing, we headed on, expecting clear sailing from there. However the road was very rough and rocky, with the gravel washed out from the rains, so it was slow going. It also kept getting worse and worse, especially where it crossed the many gullies, where the road was very narrow and the cross ditches were deep. After over three hours, we finally came around a corner and there in the middle of the road was a large truck stuck in soft sand, with its batteries out on the ground. The man sitting by the truck said he had been stuck there for about four days. There was no way around it on the left and only a narrow ridge of soft sand on the right. I had a shovel so we lowered and widened the ridge to make a path around on the right, as well as placed a few boards there to make a better track.

I put my van in four-wheel drive and slowly started by the truck. When I was right along side of it I could feel the sand giving way and I started to tilt into the truck. I stopped and we tried to fix the path better and I started ahead again. My roof rack was scraping along the back corner of the truck box, but I made it by. More “road work” and then Joe came around with the pickup, thankfully with less drama, and we were on our way again. After about four hours we arrived in Pausa. So much for saving two hours!

I hadn’t been in Pausa for almost two years so it was good to get back and re-connect with the believers there. The first few days we met with as many of them as possible, and we made follow-up appointments to encourage them to continue to meet together, and to get the new churches organized and established. We especially spent time with the leaders, answering questions they had and trying to instill basic church doctrine in them. We divided up into three or four teams to cover as much ground as possible, and also worked with Cindy, brother Tomas, and Pastor Antonio, who live there and have been involved with the missionary and preaching ministry there for the past few years.

I was happy to spend some good times with Tania and Wilman, who live in San Sebastian. They were some of the first new believers and are now very active in leading the work in their village. Wilman is the director of the school and Tania teaches in a women’s program there, so they have roles of respect in the community and have great opportunity to minister. On a previous trip, they had asked to have a Christian wedding ceremony, as they had only had a civil ceremony before, which is the required legal marriage ceremony here in Peru. A young couple they have been teaching, asked for a Christian wedding as well while we were there. They also asked to be baptized, along with three others, that Sunday afternoon. With help and coaching from Pastor Antonio, Wilman performed both his first wedding and first baptism.

I was able to preach a couple of times, as well as be involved in various teaching times, which was a blessing, after not being very involved in mission work this year. I hope to return again in October, with a few others from Cotahuasi and Arequipa, but so far we are having trouble getting a schedule that works for everyone. A couple of the groups are struggling with various problems; a few others are doing well and a couple kind of drifting. They all need encouragement and prayer that God will continue to build His church there and draw the lost and hurting people to Himself.

When it was time to return to Arequipa, we decided it was wiser to take the longer way back, rather than risk the shortcut again, but none of us had been on it for a couple of years. We came to a fork in the road, and after consulting with the map and each other; we took the fork on the right. Over an hour later, we finally came to a lone house, where we saw our first people and were able to ask directions. We had taken the wrong road; we should have gone left. Thankfully they told us about a shortcut to the correct road, and we only had to backtrack about 25 minutes. The shortcut turned out to be another adventure, but it came out right at the village of Cahuacho. After a Bible study with the mayor, we headed on to Atico, which is on the ocean, to spend the night.

The following day we had an easy, but slow return to Arequipa, as we got stuck behind very slow-moving trucks climbing back uphill, and couldn’t pass because of the fog. The team spent about 24 hours relaxing, sightseeing and shopping, before heading to Lima and back to the U.S., the next day.

The Vegas Experience

Vegas stands out like a jewel across the desert. The bright lights can be seen from great distances and act as a beacon bringing in droves of visitors in search of riches, romance, and a myriad of other goals year after year. If the lights weren’t enough from a distance, once you’ve entered Vegas you will discover that the lights and sounds are even more pronounced up close and personal. Vegas is probably the ultimate experience in sound and light. If you’re not hearing the chinking of slots or music from the Elvis impersonators you are hearing chapel bells from someone getting married along the strip.

Whether you are coming to Vegas for the casinos and hopes of finding fame and fortune, the fabulous shows and big name headliners, the wonderful food that is one of the biggest sins to be found in this city, golf, marriage and happily ever after, or the nightlife that has earned Vegas the title of ‘Sin City’. You are well on your way to an experience you are unlikely to forget.

While Vegas has not always been thought of us an appropriate vacation destination for those with families, this city is really trying to mend its ways and foster a more family-friendly reputation. They are even developing resorts and hotels with kids and family entertainment in mind. From theme park like atmospheres to everything in between the Vegas hotels of today are marketing to a much younger audience.

If you haven’t checked out some of the newer hotel and resort experiences in Vegas, perhaps now is the ideal time in which to do so. There are so many fun ways to enjoy your time in Vegas that the problem isn’t choosing which casino to visit or which hotel you want to stay in, it’s deciding which attractions you must see and which attractions you can actually live without.

In order to attract visitors hotels and resorts are going to further and further extremes and levels of competition. Some of these hotels have even gone to the extent of bringing thrill rides into the mix in an effort to attract new guests and thrill seekers. If it isn’t rides that are being offered it’s the biggest shows and brightest stars to perform for your pleasure. With the tight competition among casinos for your business it’s hard to imagine just how much money these hotels and casinos are bringing in each and every year but you can rest assured they wouldn’t be constantly building, upgrading, and offering more and more features and services if it wasn’t a highly profitable endeavor for them.

The fierce competition among hotels and casinos is good news to some extent for you as a potential guest. The tightness of the competition keeps the prices relatively affordable and allows you to pick and choose which hotel you want according to the services and amenities they offer rather than by the prices of the rooms. In fact, if you find another hotel that you aren’t as interested in for less money, try bartering with the hotel you prefer. It is very possible to get a lower price by going back and forth between two or three competing hotels.

Saving money is a great idea in Vegas, the more money you save on hotel accommodations, the more money you’ll have to spend on the entertainment of choice. Also consider some of the ‘perks’ offered by hotels when considering the price of the rooms. Some of the perks will include complimentary breakfast buffets or lunch and dinner buffets. Compare the price of buying breakfast to the price difference in the room before you make your ultimate decision. Some of them offer show tickets or discounts such as buy one get one free offers for attractions that may have been on your itinerary at any rate. It’s always good to shop for the best bargain and Vegas is one of those cities where it can’t really hurt to ask for a better deal.

Ireland has long been an island divided, but is starting to make a serious comeback. Here are 10 things to know about the Emerald Isle.

An island located close to Britain, Ireland has been in nearly constant conflict with its neighbor. Alas, things have changed dramatically in the last ten years as have Ireland’s fortunes. Religious violence seems to have tapered off and economic growth is some of the strongest in Europe.

Here are ten things to know about the amazing country of Ireland.

1. The island is split between two countries, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

2. Prior to 1921, the entire island was part of and controlled by Britain.

3. In 1921, 26 counties in the south were given independence and became the Republic of Ireland.

4. Northern Ireland is approximately 55 percent Protestant and 44 percent Catholic. This division has led to decades of strife in all aspects of life.

5. Ireland has remained neutral during the two World Wars despite the fact Great Britain played a key role in each.

6. In 1990, Mary Robinson was elected the first female President of the Republic of Ireland.

7. You will find “rag trees” in Ireland. As the name suggests, trees are covered with rags tied to their branches. The rags represent wishes for a variety of things.

8. In some parts of the country, you can go bowling on Sundays. On the public roads! The idea is to roll a heavy ball from the starting point to a finishing point as much as a couple of miles away. The team that does it in the fewest number of throws wins.

9. The ancestors of U.S. Presidents Kennedy and Reagan were Irish.

10. The Patron Saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick, was Scottish!

Ireland has a long and storied history as well as a unique cultural all its own. As you can tell from the above, this is a place you should visit if you get a chance.
