You can wind surf, para sail, and kayak. Ambergris also offers great scuba diving and snorkeling. Watch the sun rise, eat breakfast, and then explore the shopping in San Pedro. You can also take day trips to the mainland to see the Mayan ruins. Or maybe you’d like zip lining in the jungle.
Pack light. All you need is strong sunblock, mosquito repellent, shorts and tee shirts, extra swimsuits, sandals, walking shoes, and some money for souvenirs and to eat on. You can shop the stores in San Pedro or buy from the vendors on the beach. Handmade bead jewelry, weaving, and woodcarving can be found anywhere on Ambergris Caye. You’ll find great art of all kinds.
